    We welcome film production companies to our unique blend of cultural heitage, scenery, architectural structures and people which have always made West Feliciana parish and the town of St. Francisville the ideal location for major film productions.   Previous film productions include;

    Hurry Sundown (1967). Integration and a courtroom battle. Directed by Otto Preminger. Stars Jane Fonda, Michael Caine, John Phillip Law, Robert Hooks, Burgess Meredith. 

    Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) Stars Bette David, Bruce Dern

    The Saint Francisville Experiment (2000). Derivative thriller based on the popular The Blair Witch Project.

    The Farm: Angola, USA (1998). This documentary details life at Angola, the maximum security prison in Louisiana.

    ABC's mini series North & South

    Dead Man Walking (Gramercy Films, 1995). Starring Sean Penn and Susan Saradon. Based on the book by Sister Helen Prejean

    The Reaping, starring academy award winner  Hillary Swank

    EMPLOYMENT / LABOR TAX CREDIT

     To the extent that base investment is spent on payroll for Louisiana residents employed in connection with a state certified production, each investor shall be allowed an additional ten percent (10%) of such payroll. 

    It should be noted that if the payroll of any one person exceeds one-million dollars ($1,000,000), this additional credit shall exclude any salary for that person.
